Responsibilities:

•Identify and repair all pool and spa equipment needed to maintain proper pool operation including motors, filters, pumps, heaters, salt systems, lights, automation, and other miscellaneous repairs

•Identify and repair pool and spa backwash valves, PVC plumbing, copper plumbing, galvanized plumbing, suction problems as well as priming problems and high/low pressure problems

•Complete repairs accurately, in a timely fashion, and puts the pool in proper operation

•Estimate time and extent of pool repairs and notify the office of any issues

•Maintain your truck, pool and spa materials and supply inventory within the truck; notify the office when inventory drops below applicable levels

•Interact with customers providing service, recommendations and general guidance

•Maintain high standards in customer service and professional and ethical conduct

•Comply with all safety procedures, including safe working and driving habits •Partner with Service Manager to ensure all company guidelines, policies, and procedures are met and exceeded

•Keep up-to-date with pool equipment and repair changes with ongoing training and learning

Requirements:

•At least 1 year pool and spa equipment repair experience required; pay is based on level and accuracy of pool repair knowledge

•Working knowledge of 110 and 220-volt electricity and general plumbing and hydraulics

•Prior customer service experience would be a benefit

•Ability to handle physical workload and the Florida summer sun and heat

•Deadline and detail-oriented; ability to recognize and solve problems

•Good communicator; has a positive, professional demeanor with great customer service skills

•Fast learner and able to understand and execute directions to complete the job

•Dependable and honest

•Able to maintain written records and apply basic mathematical equations for chemicals

•Ability to lift 50 pounds and manual dexterity to operate pool repair tools

•Self-starter who can work alone without the need for constant management

•Valid Driver’s License and must not have driving violations that would prevent you from being added to our insurance policy

•Applicants must be 21 years of age or older due to vehicle insurance requirements
